Standardized Tests

Use Standardized Tests when you want controlled-access exams for benchmarking, end-of-unit checks, or end-of-pathway readiness.

  • Similar to ASE Entry-Level Certification tests.
  • Test all students on the exact same test at the end of a section or term.
  • Randomized to prevent students from cheating off their neighbor.

Locating and taking tests and quizzes

  • All tests and quizzes are located by selecting the ALL TESTS menu.
  • Each test page contains buttons for various tests and quizzes.
  • Timed or untimed tests cover an entire ASE area.
  • Timed or untimed quizzes cover a single content area of the overall ASE area.
  • Students may use any device including smartphones to take tests and quizzes.
  • Service is not tied to school network and can be accessed using any wi-fi or cellular connection.

Reporting

Reports help you quickly see who registered, who is participating, where scores are weak, and whether students are rushing through material.

  • Our system sends automated reports every Monday morning during your active account period.
  • On-demand reports can be initiated from the instructor ACCOUNT page. Select from one of the 5 buttons covering the same day to up to the 5 previous days.
  • Each time a report is emailed, it will contain two PDF files. One PDF for Timed tests, and one for Untimed tests.
  • Report will always generate an overview page, but will only contain subsequent pages for tests or quizzes taken during the reporting period.
  • The report overview page will show all students who have registered their accounts. If a student is missing, they have yet to register their account.

  • Report will always generate an overview page, but will only contain subsequent pages for standardized tests during the reporting period.
